Hypnosis or Breaking Through Limiting Belief

Hypnosis is a powerful tool for breaking through limiting beliefs. Our beliefs define our self-worth. They shape who we become, what we think we can and cannot do, what kinds of relationships we have, and whether or not we pursue what we love in life.

In his book The Upper Limit Effect, author Gay Hendricks uses the metaphor of a thermostat having an “upper limit”. For example, if your thermostat were set to have an upper limit of 70 degrees, you would never be able to get the temperature much higher than that. Similarly, someone whose parents never made more than $50,000 per year might subconsciously believe that it’s no OK to surpass those who gave them life. If you asked the person whether they thought they had any limiting beliefs around money, their conscious mind might very well say “no”; but the subconscious can tell a different story.

While many of our beliefs are instilled in childhood, they can be acquired at any stage in life, and they affect all areas of life.

A hypnotherapy session can help explore and identify and explore deeply ingrained beliefs, allowing us to challenge, rescript, and reframe these limitations at a subconscious level. We can create new neural pathways and rewire old though patterns. This process facilitates a transformative shift in perspective, fostering a more positive and empowering mindset that aligns with personal growth and success.
